  • Paint Brushes – different styles
  • Glitter

Free-play is where your child can choose to play with friends or engage in self based imaginative play.

There are a variety of toys to play with such as:

  • Blocks
  • Cars
  • Dolls
  • Plastic Animals

Quiet time includes books and interactive computer games.

Outside play involves:

  • Water Play in the Summer
  • Sandbox that’s big enough to fit everyone
  • Ride’em Toys
  • Balls
  • Snow Play in the Winter

Your child will learn many valuable skills here such as manner and how to get along with their peers. Sharing and waiting turns is a big learning step for many children, especially if there is no siblings at home to share with. At the lunch table children learn how to ask to have food passed to them and how to pass plates of food to others. They also learn how to sit and eat in a socially acceptable manner. Children have to ask to leave the able and clear their dishes to the kitchen sink.

It is our goal that by the time your child starts kindergarten they will be able to count to 30, say the alphabet, and can recognize and label numbers, letters, colours, and shapes. Children will learn to print their name and have had experience printing all upper case and lower case letters. Children will learn how to sit for circle time, know how to participate in group activities, and get along well with others.
